Webb Consulting LLC ("we," "us") operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is short because our site does very little.
What we collect
We collect information only when you choose to send it to us through the contact form on this site: your name, your email address, your company name if you provide one, the kind of work you selected, and whatever you write in the project description.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or session recording. We do not build profiles of visitors. Our web fonts are served from our own site rather than a third party, so simply reading this page does not share your information with anyone.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of delivering the site securely. We do not use those logs for marketing.
Why we collect it
To answer your inquiry and, if it goes further, to discuss and carry out work for you. That's the only purpose. We do not use your information for automated decision-making.
Who else sees it
Your submission is stored in our database, which is hosted by our infrastructure provider, and a notification is delivered to us by our email provider. Those vendors process the information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners. We will disclose information only if we are legally required to.
If your inquiry is a better fit for FifthExit, our creative studio, we may pass it to that team. FifthExit is a registered trade name of Webb Consulting LLC — the same company — so your information does not leave our control.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for [RETENTION PERIOD] and then delete them, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as we need them for the engagement and for our legal and accounting obligations.
Your choices
Write to info@webb-consulting.net and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not require you to create an account or verify your identity through a third party to make that request, though we may ask a question or two to confirm you are who you say you are. We will respond within thirty days.
If you are in California, you have these rights under state law and we will not treat you differently for exercising them. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to our processing and to complain to your data protection authority.
Security
Inquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in a database that is not publicly readable. No system is perfect, but we do not keep sensitive categories of information, and there is no account for anyone to break into.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
